Russia: Death toll from Moscow attack rises to 143

AA / Istanbul / Muhammad Rajavi

Russia’s Emergencies Ministry said the death toll rose to 143 after Friday’s attack on Crocus City Hall in the capital Moscow.

The ministry published an updated list of those killed in the attack on Wednesday evening, including 143 names, according to the TASS agency.

The agency explains that the list of the dead was updated based on the data of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Russian authorities announced that the death toll from the terrorist attack in the capital Moscow rose to 140 and 360 were injured.

Although the Daesh terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the attack, Alexander Bortnikov, head of the Federal Security Service, accused the United States, Great Britain and Ukraine of being behind the attack.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Federal Security Service reported the arrest of 11 people, including four terrorists directly involved in the attack, adding that efforts were continuing to identify their accomplices.

On Sunday, Russia witnessed national mourning for the victims of the attack and flags were flown at half-mast while Muscovites laid wreaths at Crocus City Hall.
