The death toll from Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip has risen to 31,819 and injured 73,934 since October 7, 2023, the Palestinian enclave’s health ministry said on Tuesday.

In its daily report on loss of life and injuries released on the 165th day of the conflict, the local health ministry said that “the death toll from the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip has risen to 31,819 dead and 73,934 injured.

“In the last 24 hours, Israeli occupation forces carried out nine massacres of Gazan families, killing 93 people and injuring 142,” the Gaza Ministry of Health added.

According to Gaza’s health ministry, “several victims are buried under the rubble and the roads are littered, and ambulances and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has waged a devastating war in the Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of civilians, mostly children and women, in addition to unprecedented humanitarian disaster and destruction. The massive infrastructure that led to the appearance of Tel Aviv. before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for “genocide”.

Israel’s war has also led to the internal displacement of 85% of Gaza’s population due to severe shortages of food, drinking water and medicine, and 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, according to the United Nations.

Israel is accused of genocide before the court. In January, an interim ruling ordered Tel Aviv to stop acts of genocide and take steps to provide humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.
