The Institute, founded by Luiz Poeira, is a laboratory for the production of various and personalized drums, produced for the benefit of the cultural movement and human development.
Carrying forward the tradition of the drum, the Institute produces these instruments and also lives the importance of the drum and atabaque for Africa-based events.
During the visit, the eighth year students had the opportunity to carry out reflections and research for the annual project of Opheliawhich has as its theme: ‘Africa and African Brazil’.
