The professor fired for cancer receives a gift from the DF students; see the moment

The gesture of a group of students moved Professor Sherlio Cabral Moreira, who teaches music in a private school in the Federal District. Diagnosed with bowel cancer in late 2023, the maestro was honored by the students of the brass band he led.

The apprentices appeared by surprise in front of the master’s house in Recanto das Emas (DF), making the educator cry. In the images it is possible to see that, in addition to being emotional, Cabral took the opportunity to satisfy his nostalgia and guide the musicians.

“Today we surprised our beloved conductor Sherlio Cabral, who is courageously facing cancer. Even away from rehearsals, we decided to bring him music. The street was filled with musical notes while Sherlio, with eyes full of emotion, directed the band once again a beautiful continuation of the stimulating work”, wrote in the caption the profile of the Colégio Vitória Régia.

The publication has exceeded 60 thousand views and, in the comments, many people have expressed their best wishes for the teacher’s recovery.

“Exciting that Uncle Sherlio returns in good health to this school I love! Beautiful tribute,” wrote one follower, in reference to how the educator is called by students. “May God restore his health, so that he can go back to doing what he loves”, wished another.

The tribute, carried out by the school marching band, was not the first action carried out by the students. To help him cover the costs of treatment, the students of the school have started a fundraiser on the school’s social networks, in order to raise funds and contribute to the educator’s recovery.
