Promes has shaved his head and is in a cell with more than 20 inmates
Spartak striker Quincy Promes, who is in one of Dubai’s prisons, was shaved in accordance with the rules of detention, reports De Telegraaf. This is a mandatory procedure for everyone in this prison.
Promes was transferred to Al-Awir prison. The cell is designed for six people and he is forced to sleep in one of three bunk beds. In addition, 10 to 20 other inmates sleep on the floor of the cell.
Promes was unable to leave the training camp in the United Arab Emirates with Spartak. He caused an accident and must be judged. Dutch prosecutors requested Promes’ extradition because of his conviction in a drug trafficking case. The prosecutor’s office said the case was not moving forward. The extradition process could take about a year.
As a member of the red and white team, he won everything possible in Russian club football. There is evidence that the Moscow club intends to terminate the contract with Promes.
