The agent and his lawyers waived any credit, waived the amount and requested a cessation of enforcement
During the press conference on Wednesday (27), Vasco president Pedrinho revealed that he had renounced a debt that the club owed him after being elected. During the conversation with journalists, the president clarified several questions about his work at the helm of the club. Among these, the relationship with 777 Partners, owner of SAF Cruz-Maltina, and the sequence of works in São Januário.
“I gave up because of the state of the club,” he explained.
Having emerged in the club’s youth divisions, the former player sued the club in 2009 and charged amounts relating to his rapid demise the previous year. At the time, in fact, he arrived from Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates, and spent three months at Cruz-Maltino in eight games.
After the club entered the centralized enforcement regime (RCE), Pedrinho entered the line of creditors in March 2022, with the amount of R$ 1,245,903.97 to be received, according to the “ge” portal. At that moment Vasco paid off the debt by paying four installments.

– On 04/19/2023 he received R$ 185,736.27
– On 05/26/2023 he received R$ 402,032.25
– On 07/27/2023 he received R$ 106,149.22
Extinction of Cruz-Maltina’s execution
The current president asked the Court for the absence of interest and monetary correction on the value of the debt. The updated calculation, therefore, was attached to the process in December 2023 and the club had to pay more R$54,170.15.
Ultimately, on February 27, Pedrinho and his lawyers waived the possible credit and released the amount. The officer then requested a cessation of enforcement.
In the press conference last Wednesday (27), Pedrinho then confirmed that he will appoint Paulo Salomão, first vice president of his ticket. The president revealed that he had never promised the seat to Julio Brant, his former partner of Semper Vasco (the ticket that won the 2023 elections).
