Rubro-Negro recorded revenues in the billions for the third consecutive year
Flamengo has published its financial statement for 2023 and, in addition to revenues of around R$ 1.3 billion, Rubro-Negro has recorded a surplus higher than that of the giants of European football, such as Manchester City and Real Madrid.
According to a study by the Deloitte Football Money League published on Flamengo’s balance sheet, Rubro-Negro has recorded a surplus of 109 million euros (R$589.5 million) in the last five seasons, surpassing Real Madrid, which in the period calculated by company the research had 86 million euros (465.1 million R $).
Flamengo is second only to Bayern Munich, which recorded a surplus of 169 million euros in the period calculated by the study. It is worth noting that Rubro-Negro had better numbers than clubs run by billionaire owners, such as Manchester City, which has virtually unlimited liquidity from the Arab fund.
In addition to reaching billions of dollars in revenue for the third consecutive year, Flamengo also reduced its operating debt from R$227 million to just R$48 million
