Leicester Women’s coach sacked over alleged relationship with player
Leicester Women’s head coach Willie Kirk has lost his job after being suspected of having a relationship with one of the team’s girls. These data were published by the Lis press service.
“Following an extensive internal disciplinary process and upholding the club’s commitment to confidentiality, Willie was found guilty of breaching the code of conduct,” the official statement read.
In early March, Kirk was suspended from his work with the team pending an investigation. Jennifer Foster will be the head coach of the women’s team.
Leicester are in ninth place in the English Championship standings.
