The striker scored the goal that allowed the club to aspire to a third title in the competition, but he left the field in pain and will be re-evaluated
Responsible for the goal that gave Palmeiras qualification to the final of the Campeonato Paulista, Endrick left the match against Novorizontino, this Thursday (28), at Allianz Parque midway through the second half with a pain in his right thigh. The striker took a hard blow in the match against Spain, in Madrid and played, until he resisted, in the sacrifice on Thursday evening (28th), at Allianz Parque, against Novorizontino.
From the bench he watched the team keep the score at 1-0 until the final whistle. He then said that he will do everything to be on the pitch on Sunday (31st), against Santos, at 6pm, in Vila Belmiro.
“If I have to play without a leg, I will play. Everything I can do for Palmeiras, I will do. The club has given everything I have to me and my family. If I have the taste to return 1% of what I they gave me, I will be very happy, happy”, he commented.
Rahael Veiga shares some advice to Endrick
The admiration for Endrick, however, is not limited only to the fans. After the match, midfielder Raphael Veiga said he had wanted to talk to the striker since he was even younger.
“Endrick came to my house when he was 14. Since then we have started a friendship. What I tell him is to enjoy everything that is happening because it undeniably goes by very quickly. It seems like yesterday I was 16 and today I’m 28. So what I tell him to do is have fun responsibly and help us on the pitch,” he explained.
