Midfielder Denis Cheryshev will leave Serie B side Venice this summer
The Venice football club, which plays in the Italian Serie B, will not renew the contract of Russian midfielder Denis Cheryshev.
From July 1 this year, the 33-year-old midfielder will become a free agent. Venice sporting director Davide Brandolin spoke about it.
“There is a clause in the contract that provides for automatic renewal when a condition is met. This condition has not been met,” Brandolin said in a conversation with “ Sport24”
Denis Cheryshev joined the Italian championship in the summer of 2022. This season he has only 9 matches and no goals.
