The English club has renovated the Riverside Stand to offer new experiences for fans
This Wednesday (27th), English Fulham announced the inauguration of the renovated stands of Craven Cottage, their stadium. Called the Riverside Stand, the sector will have programs other than football, such as a restaurant and a swimming pool.
In total, the club will offer seven different attractions, including the Sky Deck area. The space will be open and will have three floors, where you can find a swimming pool, food, drinks and incredible views of London and the Thames. Fulham created the space with the intention of offering a new experience to fans during their time at the stadium.
– My vision for the new Riverside Stand was to offer our fans and our neighborhood a destination that honors the history of Craven Cottage every day of the year, but especially on match days, with a premium football experience unlike anything else in London or anywhere else,” said Fulham chairman Shahid Khan.
In the stands, in addition to the Sky Deck, there will also be The Dugout, for the more “traditional” fans. The area has seats directly behind the bench, just 3.5 meters from the sideline.
Most of the attractions at the Riverside Stand will open to the public in August this year, at the start of the next English football season, and ticket sales will begin on 9 April. The Sky Deck will not open until December 2024.
