To respond to the criticism, Arboleda reacted mockingly on his social media:
“From now on, on my days off, I’m going to start reading the Bible, because I can’t even have fun,” the Sao Paulo native said.
The Ecuadorian Federation says the day off should have taken place on Friday, from 2pm to 8.30pm. The body spoke, but did not specify whether there would be sanctions for the players involved.
