Journalist Kapteyns: “Most likely, Promes’ football career is already over”
Dutch Telegraaf journalist Jeroen Kapteins has speculated on the future of Spartak striker Quincy Promes.
“From what I understand, Promes can stay in a Dubai prison for quite a long time. It is very likely that Promes’ football career is already over,” the journalist quotes. “RB Sports”.
The red and white footballer was unable to leave the training camp in the United Arab Emirates due to an accident; there will be a trial. Promes could be deported to the Netherlands, the country’s prosecutor’s office has filed a request. The attacker was convicted in his home country of drug trafficking and, previously, of assaulting a relative.
The Moscow club, according to insiders, intends to terminate the contract with the footballer. Promes won all the RPL medals as well as the Cup and Super Cup.
