Stanislav Cherchesov is a candidate for the position of head coach of the Azerbaijani national team.
He is one of three candidates for the position of head coach of the Azerbaijani national team, reports “Championship”. The Azerbaijan Football Federation has not yet made an offer to the coach, but has included him in the shortlist of candidates.
Cherchesov has managed a number of RPL clubs, including Spartak and Dynamo. As head coach of the red and whites, he became a silver medalist of the RPL. Stanislav worked in Hungary and Poland, leading his teams to championship and cup victories. As head coach of the Russian national team, Cherchesov led the team to the quarterfinals of the 2018 Home World Cup.
