Agent Chistyakov: Ovechkin doesn’t pay attention to haters
Gleb Chistyakov, the agent of Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin, commented on the criticism of Finnish coach Ismo Lehkonen.
Earlier, the latter said that the Russian’s pursuit of Wayne Gretzky’s record harmed the entire team.
“We don’t pay attention to the haters. Sasha plays for the team, everything is fine,” said the manager, whose words are reported by Sport24.ru.
Currently, the 38-year-old Ovechkin is 46 goals behind Gretzky and ranks 2nd on the list of best snipers in NHL history.
