Marcelo presents Jared Leto with the Fluminense shirt; watch the video

The left back Marcelo was one of the attractions of the festival Lollapalooza 2024, in Sao Paulo. That’s right, you didn’t read it wrong. The Fluminense athlete took the stage for the band’s presentation Thirty seconds to Mars and, after the performance, he recorded the meeting with the group’s singer on social media, Jared Leto.

In the image, Leto appears next to Marcelo and the athlete’s wife, Clarice Alves, and is holding the Fluminense shirt, a gift received from the player. “The artist,” says Marcelo in the caption of the publication. The musician called the experience of being on stage with the band “incredible”. “Thank you for inviting me to hang out with you,” he thanked the outsider in a thank you post.

The band Thirty Seconds to Mars was one of the attractions on the second day of Lollapalooza shows last Saturday (23rd). In the group’s sixth performance in the country, Jared Leto wore the Brazilian team’s jersey with the number 12 and the name Marcelo, and called the fullback on stage as the percussionist on the song ‘Struck’.

The moment was shared by Fluminense on the club’s official profiles. “American champion, football legend and percussionist,” wrote the Rio team profile. After the performance and the moment of interaction with the artists and the audience, Marcelo returned to the festival audience.
