All matches in the 22nd round of the RPL will begin with a minute of silence in memory of those killed at Crocus
All matches of the 22nd round of the Russian Premier League will begin with a minute’s silence in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
The league management said that preparation for matches takes into account increased security measures for competition participants and spectators.
“Decisions on possible attendance restrictions are taken by the regional executive authorities,” specifies the official RPL Telegram channel.
Earlier, Olympic champion and State Duma deputy Svetlana Zhurova raised the possibility of holding the next round of the RPL without spectators due to the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall.
According to her, this issue will be resolved by the special services.
Earlier, KP-Sport wrote that Spartak gave a T-shirt to Islam Khalilov, who saved 100 people in Crocus. Additionally, Zenit players lost to Red Star in a friendly match. Finally, Ovechkin’s double helped Washington defeat Winnipeg in the NHL regular season game.
