Natalya Bestemyanova called Malinin’s performance at the World Championships grandiose

Olympic ice dancing champion Natalya Bestemyanova shared her impressions of Russian-American Ilya Malinin’s victory at the World Figure Skating Championships.

“I was able to watch part of his performance where he performed a quadruple axel. It was a superb race. Not everyone skated well. One way or another, we congratulate Malinin on his grandiose victory,” Bestemyanova said “SE”.

Malinin became world champion for the first time. Ilya – World Championship bronze medalist (2023), Grand Prix Final winner (2023), Grand Prix Final bronze medalist (2022), two-time US champion (2023, 2024), medalist silver of the United States championship (2022), world junior champion (2022), winner of the World Team Championship (2023).
