Neymar’s helicopter is late and cannot fly

The aircraft costs R$50 million and has an expired airworthiness verification certificate (CVA); The document is mandatory to fly

Striker Neymar, of Al-Hilal and the Brazilian team, was prevented from using his helicopter. This is because the plane has a late document. The luxury helicopter worth R$50 million has expired its airworthiness verification (CVA) certificate. The document is required by the National Civil Aviation Authority (Anac) and must be presented every three years.

The helicopter is an Airbus BK 117 D-2, weighing 3.7 tons, with two engines and a tubular mast, autonomy for night flights and capacity for 10 people. The aircraft has the prefix PP-NJR purchased by the company “Neymar Sport and Marketing LTDA”, in May 2019.

Neymar, who has a fortune estimated at $1 billion (R$5 billion), bought the plane and then made it available. After all, it was completely customized in Paris, with leather seats, the Batman symbol and other accessories.
