Red Star played in support of Russia in the match against Zenit

Serbian Red Star fans staged a performance in support of Russia during a friendly match against Zenit Saint Petersburg.

The meeting is currently taking place in Belgrade. The match could have been canceled due to the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, but the management of the bleus-blancs-bleus decided to organize the match anyway.

Fans brought many Russian and Serbian flags to the stadium. Also in the stands were banners with the words “Moscow. 22.03. We cry”, as well as “Russia and Serbia are brothers forever”. The images were shared by Zenit’s official Telegram channel.

The match began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims.

Previously, KP-Sport wrote about the sports world’s reaction to the tragedy at Crocus City Hall. Also, a fan ran onto the field during a Russian match for 30 million rubles. Finally, the head of the ISU was surprised by the number of medications that figure skater Valieva was taking.
