The Brazilian Manumito puts on a show at Bellator and aims for the maximum

This was Manumito’s eleventh victory in MMA, remaining undefeated




Manoel Sousa, known as Manumito, made his Bellator debut this Friday (22nd) and impressed by knocking out Tim Wilde in just 49 seconds of fighting.

The Brazilian demonstrated his striking ability, unleashing a powerful left cross onto his Northern Irish opponent, who had the full support of the Belfast fans.

This was Manumito’s eleventh victory in MMA, remaining undefeated in his career. While Tim Wilde has 17 wins and 5 losses on his record.

The performance of the athlete from OCT Academia Octógono, from São Bernardo do Campo (SP), quickly went viral on social media, being considered a strong candidate for the title of knockout of the year.

Manumito is already planning his next fights in Bellator, both in his category and in a higher division.

“I’m ready for the next challenge, it could be against anyone, whether in the 70kg or 66kg category. I’m prepared for any opponent.”

“Paris could be very close, maybe the card is already closed, but Dublin seems like a good option.”

“My aim is to have four matches this year. I will make sure the Irish people love me!” he said.

Undefeated in MMA, Manumito competes in the lightweight division and receives the careful guidance of coach Fred Blum, as well as the support of a multidisciplinary team.
