“This is the man who created history”: Kazansky spoke at Utkin’s funeral

Commentator and presenter Denis Kazansky attended the farewell ceremony together with his former colleague Vasily Utkin.

According to Kazansky, it was Utkin who helped him realize himself in the professional field. The presenter also emphasized that the commentator left a huge imprint on his biography and greatly contributed to the development of sports journalism.

“We haven’t talked much lately. But two days before he left, we spoke. It’s a great story. This is a man who created history around himself, made it himself and on whose behalf we are speaking now, trying to change the mood of people,” added Kazansky, whose words transmit “S.E.”

Vasily Outkin died on March 19 at the age of 53. According to unofficial data, a blood clot broke off.
