The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) finally defined the numbering of the Brazilian team for the two friendly matches in March this Friday. This Saturday, in fact, the Canary Islands team will face England, at Wembley Stadium, in London, at 4pm (Brasilia time).
In Neymar’s absence, however, Rodrygo will wear the number 10 shirt. The Real Madrid player, in fact, has already worn the shirt on other occasions. Striker Richarlison, who has returned to the Brazilian team, will wear the 9 shirt again. Other highlights, Vini Jr and Lucas Paquetá will wear the 7 and 8 shirts respectively.
In fact, on this FIFA date, Brazil will debut its new uniforms, which are part of the 2024/25 collection, officially launched this week. The garment will then dress the Canary Islands team in the 2024 Copa América, between June and July, in the United States.
After the duel with the English, which will mark the debut of Dorival Jr, the Brazilian team will return to the field on Tuesday. The opponent will therefore be Spain, at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid, at 5.30pm (Brasilia time).
