“I have a lot of faith in justice, I really do. There was the whole legal process, they had the opportunity to contradict themselves and the sentence arrived. Everyone must pay for the crime committed. I know Daniel Alves” family, it’s sad, but everyone must pay for his crimes”, Ednaldo Rodrigues told “Uol”.

“There is no point in having a booklet of repudiation. We must take action, educate through conferences and the creation of working groups that work within the CBF,” he added.

Ednaldo Rodrigues was not the first Brazilian representative to take a stand on the issue in London. On Thursday, Leila Pereira, president of Palmeiras and head of Brazil’s delegation, repudiated the former players’ cases. Later this Friday, right back Danilo and coach Dorival Júnior also spoke on the topic.
