The Brazilian helps Swansea stay in the English Premier League

Ronald Pereira stands out for the Welsh team in his first season in the UK. Look what the beast said!

Young Ronald Pereira is enjoying a good phase in English football. One of the flagships of Swansea City, a Welsh team competing in the English second division (EFL championship), the Brazilian has been a starter since his second match with the club after arriving from Estrela Amadora, from Portugal. The beast spoke about his experience in the UK.

“I already feel very comfortable playing for Swansea and I’m happy with the performance I’m having at the club. It’s a team with tradition and one that deserves to fight up there. The positions the club have found themselves in certainly haven’t. they do justice to the size of the club,” he said.

When Ronald arrived, Swansea were bottom of the table, fighting not to fall out of the division. With the 22-year-old forward on the pitch, the team achieved four wins and a draw in ten matches. This way they jumped to 15th place, with 46 points from 38 games, seven places outside the relegation zone. Ronald also commented on the last stretch of the season.

“Unfortunately we no longer have the chance to access the Premier League. But the goal now is to gain as many points as possible to give hope to our fans and show that we will be strong next season. We are doing this in the last few games and also winning this classic was very important to be able to change this key for our fans”, he concluded.
