The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Sergey Aleinik, will pay a two-day visit to Turkey on Tuesday.
Sergei Aleinik will meet his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan and the two ministers will discuss regional developments and bilateral relations, according to a press release from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Aleynik will also attend the session of the Turkish-Belarusian Joint Economic Commission.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Turkey and Belarus have favorable relations characterized by constructive dialogue between the two sides. Turkey was the first country to recognize Belarus’ independence, establishing diplomatic relations in 1992.
