She promised them that she would pass on their messages to Kate, “I will take care of them and make sure she reads them”.
Shortly after this meeting, little Harriet confided to the Daily Telegraph, “we heard she was coming and I wanted to hold up the poster to show my love to Kate”. Her mother, the daughter’s daughter, Lucy Waterson, was also delighted that Camilla was coming to them, “we didn’t think she would see them, to be honest, and she said she would pass on her best wishes to them”.
