Petrobras will launch the largest edition of the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program, with a record number of vacancies available. There will be more than a thousand vacancies in 13 states and the Federal District, covering all regions of Brazil, which represents an increase of more than 50% compared to what was offered in the last edition. According to the company, the distinctive feature of this edition is that it offers two types of learning: the basic professional learning, lasting 15 months, or the technical course, lasting 20 months, both carried out by the National Learning Service Industrial (Senai). with theoretical and practical lessons.
The initiative also includes learning experiences at Petrobras units. The young apprentices will thus be able to obtain, at the end of the course, a technical-professional training diploma, being able to compete for vacant technical-level positions in the job market.
The program provides a quota of 10% for persons with disabilities (PWD), 15% for adolescents who have abandoned child labor and 10% for adolescents in institutional care, such as shelters, shelters and residences inclusive. On an experimental basis, 20 apprentices will also be included in the socio-educational measures.
Vacancies will be filled in Manaus, Salvador, São Sebastião do Passé (BA), Fortaleza, Brasilia, Vitória, Betim (MG), Três Lagoas (MS), Ipojuca (PE), Recife, Curitiba, Natal, Canoas (RS) , Aracaju, Cubatão (SP), Mauá (SP), Paulínia (SP), Santos (SP), São José dos Campos (SP), São Paulo, Duque de Caxias (RJ), Macaé (RJ), Rio de Janeiro and São Gonçalo (RJ).
The program offers opportunities for young apprentices in various learning courses, such as administrative assistant, boiler assistant, logistics operations assistant, pump, motor, compressor and transmission equipment mechanic, plumbing plumber, instrumentation, industrial electrician, construction electrician, industrial mechanic, technical support operator in the IT sector, system development technician, industrial automation technician, electrical technician, welder, among others.
It also includes, for the first time, a technical course on renewable energy systems, seeking to prepare young people for the new needs that arise with the energy transition.
Apprentices hired by Petrobras will have the benefits of minimum wage, transportation vouchers, thirteenth pay, holidays, Service Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS) payment and the possibility to join the health allowance (Gympass).
To enroll in the basic learning course, young people must be aged between 14 and 22 years and eight months. For the technical course the required age ranges from 14 years to 22 years and three months. The maximum age does not apply to PCD candidates.
