Pre-holiday attention was also occupied by the macro agenda on Friday, including the Central Bank’s quarterly inflation report and unemployment rate in Brazil, as well as data on unemployment benefits and consumer confidence in the United States.
The benchmark index of the Brazilian stock exchange, Ibovespa, rose by 0.5%, to 128,322.91 points, accumulating an increase of 1.02% in the week, but a loss of 0.54% in the month, according to preliminary data.
At the high of the day it reached 128,363.98 points. At the minimum, at 127,270.19 points. The financial volume amounted to 18 billion reais before the final adjustments.
