On Wednesday, Serena Energia priced its secondary offering of shares at 9 reais each, for a value of 775.4 million reais, according to a statement from the energy company.
The value represents a 4.3% discount to the stock’s closing price on Wednesday. Manager Tarpon sold 86.15 million shares in the offering.
BTG Pactual, Citi and Itaú BBA were the coordinators of the offering.
Trading of the B3 stock begins on Monday, with a settlement date scheduled for the following day, April 2.
Serena reported earlier this month that management company Tarpon’s funds were considering a secondary follow-on, amounting to 13.9% of the company.
The company’s shares fell 0.43% to 9.36 reais each on Thursday afternoon. The day before the stock had closed at 9.40 reais.
