R$30 billion should be made available to MEIs and companies included in Simples Nacional
After Desenrola for Individuals, there is a version of the program for Legal Entities, which should alleviate the defaults of small Brazilian businesses.
The program envisages the use of R$ 10 billion to facilitate renegotiation, allowing debts to be repaid through the companies’ own resources or bank financing.
The Minister of Entrepreneurship, Microenterprise and Small Business, Márcio França, said that a debt renegotiation program aimed at small businesses will be launched by April. The initiative would be similar to Desenrola, which focuses on private individuals.
“We want to create a Desenrola for legal entities, along the same lines as natural persons,” the minister said.
To stimulate, the minister declared that he will make R$ 30 billion available to MEIs and companies included in Simples Nacional.
“Often, R$10,000 saves a company. We want to reach these entrepreneurs and show that they too are seen and will be supported,” she said.
