Petrobras keeps gasoline 17% below the international price; last adjustment completed 154 days

Diesel has also been at the same price for 87 days and has been sold by the company at a price 9% lower than the international market

RIVER – A Petrobras does not adjust the price of Gas 154 days ago in its refineries. According to the Brazilian Association of Fuel Importers (Abicom), the price of gasoline in state refineries is 17% lower than that practiced in the United States. Even so, the gasoline sold by Acelen is 10% lower than the Gulf of Mexico, and the diesel is 7%. The company is controlled by the Arab investment fund Mubadala, which is currently in talks with Petrobras for a partnership in the refining and biorefining sectors.

Price at the pumps

Average fuel prices at gas stations in Brazil remained virtually stable in the week of March 17-23, according to data from the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), reflecting the lack of adjustments at refineries of Petrobras.

Cooking gas fell by 0.1% compared to the week of March 10 to 16, costing on average R$102.24 per 13-kilogram cylinder, while petrol and diesel increased by 0.3% and 0, respectively. 1%. According to the ANP, the average price of petrol was R$5.75 and that of diesel was R$5.93.

The average price of petrol reached its highest value in the Northern region, at R$6.02 per litre, the same region where diesel is also more expensive than in the rest of the country, recording R$5.93 per litre. . Cooking gas reached the highest price in the Central-West region, reaching R$105.87 for a 13-kilo cylinder.

In the city of Sao Paulo, the ANP found the most expensive regular petrol (R$7.97/l), the cheapest (R$4.59/l), as well as the most expensive diesel (R$8.40 /L). ). In Belém the agency found the cheapest petrol (5.21 R$/l). The most expensive cooking gas was found in Cuiabá (R$138), while the cheapest in Recife (R$75), the ANP reported.
