Musk could be Trump’s advisor in the new government, the newspaper says

The billionaire and the former president met and held talks

Former US President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk have discussed the possibility of the billionaire taking on an advisor role in a possible new government of the tycoon.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the discussion occurred during a meeting in March at Montsorrel, at millionaire investor Nelson Peltz’s property in Palm Beach, Florida, with a group of rich and powerful friends.

Nothing exactly has been decided, but the idea would be to give the owners of Tesla, SpaceX and X influence over policies related to border security and the economy.

The two also discussed technology and science, including the United States Space Force.

Musk and Peltz also informed the former president of a plan to invest in a data-driven project to prevent voter fraud.

They also told Trump about an influence campaign already underway in elite circles, in which Musk and his political allies are holding meetings with powerful business leaders across the country to try to convince them not to support Joe’s reelection campaign Biden.

Less than two years ago, Trump and Musk traded insults publicly, but they have developed a friendly relationship and speak on the phone several times a month as the election approaches. .
