Chalov goes to Marseille and Smolov goes to Krasnodar

For most Russian clubs, the offseason has already arrived, which means that now all the team managers’ attention is focused on the transfer market. Artem Dzyuba finally parted ways with Lokomotiv, and the striker will now look for options to continue his career. Istria with a trip to China to see Slutsky will probably not work, Artem will remain in the RPL.

Fedor Smolov will almost certainly stay in the Premier League. But Chalov is looking at Europe with all his might. According to rumors, the French “Marseille” is interested in the army striker.

KP Sport looks back at the main RPL transfer rumors for May 30, 2024.

Dzyuba left Lokomotiv, but he will not be in China

The departure of Artem Dzyuba from Lokomotiv was very predictable, but now everything is official – Dzyuba is no longer a railway striker. The red-green club refused to renew Artem’s contract.

Dziuba will now look for options to continue his career. Many have courted him to China, where his friend Leonid Slutsky is currently training. But the coach himself has already explained that his Shanghai cannot recruit foreigners due to the limited number of foreign players. “If you declare five foreign players for the season, then these five stay with you until the end of the championship. Even if a player is injured or sold, he cannot be traded for another foreigner,” Slutsky said.

According to Metaratings, Pari NN and Khimki are interested in Dzyuba. At the same time, the attacker himself wants to stay in the RPL. Artem will therefore only consider the option with the Nizhny Novgorod team if Paris NN beats Arsenal in the play-offs and remains in the Premier League.

Chalov can swap CSKA for Marseille

Something strange is happening to Fedor Chalov’s future. Fedor’s brother Daniil announced the CSKA striker’s departure from the club. In one of the YouTube broadcasts he said that the colors of Chalov’s future team are blue and white.

Then the Transfermarkt site came into play; according to information, French “Marseille” is interested in Chalov. By the way, their colors are blue and white. If this insider is to be believed, then Marseille is not only interested in Fedor, but is already negotiating with CSKA for his acquisition.

At the same time, Daniil Chalov emphasized that he spoke about the blue and white color of his brother’s “future” team as a joke. It is likely that the Transfermarkt insider was born from this joke.

Vladimir Slishkovich decided to leave Spartak

Spartak also has transfer news, and again it concerns the coaching position. The club announced the end of its cooperation with Vladimir Slishkovic. The Bosnian specialist himself announced his desire to continue his career elsewhere.

Earlier it became known that Spartak will be led by Dejan Stankovic and Sliskovic will join the Serbian coaching staff. Apparently, Vladimir decided not to step back, but to develop himself as a head coach.

At the same time, SE reports that the reason for Sliskovich’s departure was financial disagreements. The publication reports that the Bosnian wanted to increase his salary almost to the level of the head coach of Spartak.

According to rumors from various sources, Sliskovich already has an offer from several RPL teams. Foreign clubs are also interested in Vladimir. In the near future, the Bosnian will have to decide where he wants to continue his career. And as a hint, not so long ago he said that he would not mind receiving Russian citizenship.

Krasnodar will try to bring back Fedor Smolov

After Dynamo’s defeat to Krasnodar in the 30th round of the RPL, the blue and white striker honestly admitted that this was perhaps the last time he was so close to the title of champion of Russia. In addition, Smolov’s contract at Dynamo is expiring, which did not receive an automatic extension.

Krasnodar can take advantage of Smolov’s free agent status. According to insider Ivan Karpov, the Bulls are showing interest in Fedor, who previously played for Krasnodar. There is also an offer from Saudi Arabia for Chalov.

But the Dynamo story is not yet over. The Blue and Whites can manually extend the deal with Smolov, but on one condition: a significant reduction in the player’s salary.

Zenit will sell the Russian again

Zenit St. Petersburg is also looking for reinforcement options for next season and could also resell the Russian footballer.

According to Metaratings, the bleus-blancs-bleus could get rid of Alexander Kovalenko during the summer transfer window. A football player can be sold or loaned.

The decision on the 20-year-old midfielder’s future will be made after the Russian Cup superfinal. True, in the spring of the last championship, Zenit had problems with the limit. The land had to be reduced to accommodate all the foreigners. With Kovalenko gone, this problem could get even worse.
