Ex-referee Fedotov: Moskalev made a mistake by not showing Osipenko a red card in the match against Spartak

Former RPL referee Igor Fedotov said that the referee did not mistakenly remove defender Maxim Osipenko from the field in the match against Spartak.

The episode occurred in the 12th minute of the match, Osipenko foiled Ugalde’s attack and received a warning.

“I think Moskalev was wrong. I can understand why the VAR in the person of Kazartsev did not help. The question immediately arises: did Osipenko break the rules and what to show him? And if there was no fault, then cancel it? As a result, Kazartsev did not help,” Fedotov said in a conversation with the Championship.

Note that Spartak defeated Rostov on the road with a score of 5:1 and rose to fourth place in the RPL standings.

Earlier, KP-Sport wrote that Lokomotiv said a decision on Dziuba’s contract would be made at the end of the season. Additionally, Ovechkin called for forgetting the loss to the Rangers in Game 1 of the NHL playoffs. Also in Moscow, 21-year-old volleyball player Mikhailina died.
