Spaghetti with carrots in white sauce recipe

Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 large carrots
  • Salt and olive oil to taste
  • Chopped chives to decorate

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 cups milk (tea)
  • 1/2 cup cream (tea).
  • Salt and grated nutmeg to taste

Preparation method:

  1. With a sharp knife or vegetable slicer, cut the carrot into thin slices.
  2. Cut thin strips from each slice, forming spaghetti.
  3. Steam cook for 3 minutes, without letting it soften.
  4. Remove, season with salt, olive oil and set aside.
  5. For the sauce, heat the butter in a pan and fry the onion until soft.
  6. Add the flour and fry quickly.
  7. Add the milk and cook, stirring, until it thickens slightly.
  8. Add the cream, salt, nutmeg, mix and turn off.
  9. Arrange the carrot on a serving plate and cover with the sauce.
  10. Decorate with chives and serve immediately.
