This country is the place where people under 30 are happiest, study finds

What if we’re just not in the right place? There are days when you feel more depressed than others, and that’s normal. Many factors impact our morale and happiness. And it could even come from where we live… According to the Word Happiness Report 2024there is a country in the world where people under the age of 30 are the happiest.
To carry out this study, the Center for Wellbeing Research at the University of Oxford conducted a survey of 130 countries. Participants were asked to evaluate, on a scale of 0 to 10, the best possible life in their opinion, before rating their current life. GDP per capita, social assistance, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity and freedom from corruption were also taken into account for each country.

The 10 countries where people under 30 feel the best

Thanks to its results, the World Happiness Report was able to classify the countries where people aged 30 are the happiest. This also concerns Generation Z, born between 1981 and 1996, as well as Generation Y, born between 1997 and 2012.
But ultimately, which country is at the top of the podium? According to the report, Lithuania ranks first. However, for those over 60, it is only 44th. The ranking continues with Israel then Serbia. Iceland is in fourth place and Denmark closes the top 5. Then we find Finland, Romania, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
